Job Description

 

Main Responsibilities

As a verification/product engineer, you will participate in the product development project and responsible for the followings:

  1. Develop engineering test plan in the early phase of product development to provide direction to adjusting the design.
  2. Support realizing design prototype
  3. Reviewing the product designs and noting likely points of failure.
  4. Reviewing existing engineering criteria for similar products.
  5. Meeting with product designers and apply regulatory standards to determine functionality test method
  6. Develop design verification methodology based on product designs and failure points.
  7. Conduct the Test Method development and validation activity include fixture development, method validation protocol/report.
  8. Writing up final test procedures and training QC staff.
  9. Assign above job tasks by staffing qualification / personal ability / organization needs.
  10. Carry out other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  1. Hands-on experience in designing and carrying out tests of mechanical products
  2. Expertise in fixture design and modal analysis of mechanical test fixtures
  3. Profound knowledge of mechanical validation testing and data acquisition
  4. Ability to automate mechanical tests
  5. Knowledge in metallurgy and data acquisition analysis
  6. Skilled to perform statistical analysis
  7. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
  8. Knowledge of industrial manufacturing procedures
  9. Proficiency English skill with written and verbal communication is required in an international team and with SHL’s sites overseas. (TOEIC 800 or above)
  10. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is required.
